I just read all 16 pages of this thread. O . O Dezod, I don't know THAT much about turbo systems but oh my god, it makes me want to sell everything I own to buy it. Well...everything but my Vic. Mainly commenting to bump, but I gotta say you have pretty much everything I want to get for my baby at your website. I currently have a window open w/ a shopping cart full of $8,424.90 worth of merch (including the turbo kit w/ all the trimmings) and let me tell you, I WILL be buying most of it...well the cheaper things anyway. Considering I payed $9,500 for my Vic I'm not sure how happy I'd be in the long run to spend the same amount beefing it up.......but....who said tuning cars was cheap, right? Again, def. props for the turbo kit and hopefully I'll eventually be a proud owner of one.

Dezod, i'm new to Turbo and was highly considering buying the kit. My friend is running 10-11 psi and I was wondering if I could safely run that with stock internals. I will be buying all the accessories with the kit, also is there any group buy going on. Please hit me up and let me know.

I would not recommend anything over 8 PSI on stock internals. You MAY be able to run 10-11 PSI with a great tune and a real high race octane gas. What motor and car is he boosting? What sized turbo? Your 8 PSI may exceed his power levels at 10-11 if he is using a small turbo on say a CRX or a D16. Too many variables with respect to turbo flow rates and efficiency.

The T3/T4 at 8PSI on our kit with a good tune will make about the same power as the T3 Super 60 on 10 PSI or so. So it will be a very good match up.

On the T3/T4 does that actually take longer for the Turbo to spool? I want quicker power and not have to be at 4000rpm's to feel it, i would rather have lower rpm's.

The T3/T4 we use is designed to create boost @2500-3000 rpms. Full boost (8 PSI) will be acheived with our log manifold by 3200-3800 RPMS. This is assuming just using a wastegate....Better results can be acheived with a boost controller. This system is designed for midrange & top end extraction of power, which is where the D17 lacks. The car is light and too much down low TQ will create even worse traction issues than what already exist.

So do you suggest to someone with a D17 to go with the T3/T4 or T3 Super 60? If i am going with turbo i'm getting emanage, boost controller, ect.

T3/T4 all the way. More power at less boost.


As a side note, we will have kits on shelf waiting to be shipped if all goes well by the end of this month.
