I'm seeing if there is interst in my rims, finished in silver with polished lip, rims and tires are like new, only one rim has small smudge on the outer lip, i paid over 2300 this summer for the set, best offer will take them. I'm thinking of going with gunmetal wheels for next season, as i'm changing my theme with the car.

***NOTE*** I'm also willing to sell just the rims seperately. The tires are like new as well as the rims, and i love those tires, so i can sell just the rims alone if someone's just interested in the wheels.

yah those are some nice rims, I swear if i knew that a particular someon *ahem telly* was going to sell his subzeros I would of bought them from the philippines for sure. But how much do you want for them? Is there a particular set of rims you are looking for as a replacement?

Yup, that's what i want, the same wheels again but in Gunmetal. Not exactly sure what i want for these wheels, so right now i'm open to offers. I've already taken them off and cleaned them, you can eat off these wheels, even the insides are spotless!

why don't you just keep the rims and get the inside powdercoated gunmetal. it will be cheaper than buying new rims.

Just powder coat them. I'm gonna be getting a set of rims powdercoated next week. It only cost $200. The coating will be even more durable than the oringinal finish.

Where you getting them done at? I wanna leave the lip polished, but do the spokes in gun metal.

I'm getting the sandblasting done at The Paint Shop and coating done at Procoat, both shops are in Brampton. I'll ask about leaving the lip when I go. I had a set of 18's done last year from silver to gunmetal and they came out great. It's $100 for the sandblasting and $100 for the powdercoating. Look in your phonebook, that's how I found these two places. I had to tell them that I was getting the coating for $25/rim somewere else and he price matched it no probs.

Hey APR if you decide to go with the powdercoating, a word of caution - make sure when looking at the colour chips you account for the fact that the powdercoat will come out a little lighter. I was at my sponsor's shop (Proparts) last night looking at a nice Wedsport rim that he intended to make gunmetal. The final product looked closer to primer grey, but with a nice gloss.

Sandblasting done at: The Paint Shoppe, 250 Rutherford rd. S, (905)452-0399 ($100)

Powdercoating done at: Pro Coat, 4 Abacus rd. unit 14 (7 & 427), (905)7941770 ($100)

I'm gonna be doing a set pretty soon too. Not sure about the polished lips yet. I think I might put mine on a lathe after then clear coat them.

APRboy...how much you want for just the rims?
Nov 11, 2004

I'd sell just the rims for 850 which inludes me having someone take the tires off them. I might be flexible on that price too.
