Hey guys and gals, wazzuupp. Just to let you know that I am seling my Black Type S steering wheel and airbag. Both are in mint condition and and I MAY consider selling them seperately if the price is right. My good friend Rob at Acura Woodbine looked into the price and both retail for close to $1300.00. I am not selling it for this price so Asking $675.00 for both or make me a reasonable offer if you just want to buy the wheel or airbag seperately.

hey i been trying to sell mine for over a year and no one want to buy it (well i got some low ball offers and some ppl dont understand why they are cost more than momo steering wheel cuz it comes with AIRBAG for safety purpose, etc)

so i kinda gave up and if someone wants to buy then they can talk to me, dont want to make it depressing but i had a hard time selling mine

can the airbag from the civic be put into the rsx one?

nope because civic's stock airbag is different shape than the RSX
RSX is 3 spokes and the airbag looks like a triangle
and the civic stock wheel is 4 spokes and the airbag is like a rectangle shape

but if u are referring to the SiR (EP3) airbag then it should cuz it is the same as the RSX

does this fit on the civic or does some customizing have to be done???

If it is the civic SiR it will fit no problems, a direct plug and play with no SRS issues and no customizing. I actually installed the 03 SiR EP3 wheel in my car (debadged acura and made it the Honda it alway wanted to be) and it was a direct swap. Other model civics,especially older civics I'm not too sure, but with some modifications I'm sure it will fit. I would think the outer wheel would fit but not sure about the airbag. Are you interested?

BTW it will fit the 96-04 Civics (all models) no problem. May have to do some splicing to get the airbags wired up, depending on year and number of wires (CDM&JDM vs USDM is diff). I've removed my wheel and dropped the RSX one right in, then my old wheel went to a 96 EL (same as Civic). Thus if the RSX wheel will fit my car and my old steering wheel fits a 96 EL, then of course the RSX wheel fits the 96 EL and Civic. That and I've seen it done on Honda-Tech.

Mine matched up perfect.

BTW I forgot to mention that the cruise control plug is different for the RSX. What I would do is find a cut plug from an RSX - if you're lucky a junker with a wrecked RSX (assuming wheel is blown or taken) will still have the little brown plug. If not, stop by your Acura dealer, I know they have them. The guy who sold me my wheel went to Acura and paid a few bucks for the little plug before he sold to me.

sellin an air bag is illegal anyways you obviously got ripped off buyin it now you cannot sell it cuz the air bag its self isnt worth anything id give ya 300 bones thats better then waiting a year everyone has losse's in life i have mine..
