steering wheel and passenger air bag ?

the air bag for the driver I believe can be takin out or either disconnected? I think takin out. but the only catch is THE OTHER has to do it. Meaning you can't ask a friend to do it or a shop cuz it'll be ilegal. The only way is to give a person who knows how to take it apart and he signs the lease, then after h's done, u take the lease back...kinda of a hassle but hey it is legal. Passenger side is another thing...I DONT KNO [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 0 Only legal way you can remove them, or otherwise disable them is if you own the car and do it yourself. It's illegal to pay someone to do it for you. A way around it is to legally sign the title over to the person who will disable them, have that person complete the work, then sign the title back over to you. But if I may ask, why do you want to disable them?
I'm not disagreeing with you, like its wrong to remove them, cause for smaller people, and pregnant women, and if there's ever a baby seat up front, then you don't want airbags. Remember, most airbags are designed for a 6' 0" 180lb male, some of us aren't quite that size.

Rep Power: 0 i may want to change my steering wheel in about a year or two ... i'm not liking the stock steering wheel ... as for the passenger airbag .. i want to put a game console/dvd/or vcp in the compartment where the airbag is ... thanks for the replies ...
