it took like 5 minutes for my windshield to get covered ice to the point i couldn't see in it while driving. i would of had to keep my wipers on fast to avoid it. luckily it was a short drive. i don't even wanna know how today will be like.

Hopefully this will all melt soon, its like a bloody skating rink outside, all the new snow is covering the tracts of sheer ice that the frozen rain dropped a day or two ago. 40km/h + Whitemud = lame.

Trying to get the city to pay, since it was their truck. I got a letter in the mail today from them saying it could be 3 to 6 weeks before they render a decision.

The thing of it is tho, if they don't pay for it, I can either fight, or have my insurance company pay for it. If they pay for it, my insurance only goes up 100 bucks. That's not bad. I was thinking it would be WAYYYYYY worse.

Edmonton what do i like to say about it? the weather SUCKS. i like to think of edmonton as the sub-artic hell hole of Canada. My windshield is a victom of this nasty weather. It was so @#$* cold out that it cracked, not once but twice. So today i'm going to go get a new one before i do any tint to my car. Thats enough of my hate of edmonton for at least a min. Yeah, I saw that on the weather channel. As for us here in Edmonton, if it ain't snowing it's showering us in freezing rain, and if that ain't enough, it warms up, melts a bit, causes a nice low mist, and then freezes back up so you need ice skates to get around.

I have my insurance company involved already... But now they want receipts and pics of all my modifications. They said if I put too much more in the car they won't insure me anymore.
