Rear-Ended Again
Rear-Ended Again
Some damn lady in a 96 Chevy Astro minivan rear-ended my Civic today while I was stopped waiting in line for a left turn! When I asked her exactly how she hit my car she claimed she was "taking off her jacket" and must have "accidentally hit the gas pedal". What the hell is wrong with people nowadays? Why can't anyone concentrate on the road anymore and drive. This is the 2nd person this year that has rear-ended me...damn it.
Edmonton drivers = crap.
On a side note, I saw a seemingly stock Protege try to take an M Roadster from a dead stop at a light. Man those M's can move, he chirped his tires a bit and was gone, I don't even know -what- the Mazda was thinking.

**** sorry to hear about the news man.. boo urms to soccer moms and their minivans.. they can't drive worth crap around this city.. too many moron drivers, I think they should all get retested.. that will at least get most of the bad habits taken care of.
Damn man! I agree with you about Edmonton drivers... How much damage? Last night, some moron decided to park right against my civic bumper... Wouldn't be too bad except the car had a front license plate holder and the bolts dug right in.
I'm tempted just to sell all of my cars now, it's not even worth owning something remotely nice in Edmonton.

Not too much damage, mostly cosmetic, some bumper deformation.
Strangest thing, her vehicle insurance card was a temporary issue card from the Department of Defence. It complemented her expired insurance card very well =P

Yeah, I'm peachy but a little pissed off, esp. since I'm going to be getting rid of the Vic soon, people love to see large amounts of paint damage on the rear bumper when considering buying a car =\
Yeah, I had a hit and run last summer, some sh*t *** truck ran a stop sign and hit my car then sped away. If I ever see that bastard again I'll throw him through a plate glass window.
Just your Ordinary, Average Guy... IN A HOT CIVIC!! HAHAHA!!

and stupid fobby drivers too.....those are the worst. My horn gets quite a workout some days, I am thinking of swaping a larger and louder one.

Yeah, semis just tend to belt you w. rocks and debris =P It was so nice driving down to Cali in the US, the whole way down semis had to remain in the far right lane, on the highway that meant cars got 1-2 lanes to themselves and getting closer to big cities it means they got 4-5 lanes to themselves, w. trucks getting the 2 far left ones.
I was actually pretty impressed w. drivers down there, despite some screw ups, nobody ever honked at me or tailgated me. They do like going fast though and a guy in his Ford Explorer passed the Vic when we were doing 180km/h like we were standing still.

man i've only had one slight accident since i began driving 5 years ago. especially driving to grant macewan the last two years and now to the south side where i currently work. i consider myself extremely lucky. so many close calls every week. i admit i've had close calls because of my own stupidity. everyday is rear end after rear end. i know my civic is gonna get fuked up one day.
