So.. I get rear-ended by another civic (92-95) while on my way to get my license (I just realized I had lost it).
Rear bumper is totally finished and my left tail-light is crooked.
I'll post up pics tomorrow...
I went straight to the scrap yard...
got an 03 rear bumper with the OEM lip for 150$ CAD =D =D
well.. let's hope my bodyshop guy can make everything look like new for under 350...

Rep Power: 0 The whiplash was horrible right after the accident (I really thought my airbags were gonna pop on me).
The guy that rear-ended me was going easily at 90km/h in a 50 zone. I was sooo pissed... when I saw he couldn't slow down.. I floored the car.. redlining first and second practically to speed up.. but yeah.. BOOOOOM
I'm going outside to take pictures now...

Rep Power: 0 I've been rearended 4/5 times in my Civic, seems like these cars just ask for it.
Congratulations on saving a bit of cash on the fix, sorry to hear about your accident.

350 can buy a new bumper installed so i can see 350 not being too much for that. all he needs is a new bumper and maybe some of the trunk to be bent back to shape. doesnt look too bad but still sucks alot!

Finally.. fix cost was 400$ (150$ for bumper/lip and 250$ for bodywork/paint)
no frame damage, just new bumper/paint and tailight readjusted.
I'll take pix of the car tomorrow....
