Angry You guys/gals will not like this too much

Check out the specs for the Asia area (Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand) Civic Sedan. Almost all the countries listed get the 1.7L sohc vtec, and get this "rear disc brakes" !!! Unbelieveable !!! If this ever makes it to our shorelines that would be great, but knowing how Honda North America runs probally not. But then again we have the Acura EL. Opinions ???

The Veloz is the same as the Si with the exception of a skirt kit. The only Civic with rear disc is the SiR trim.

Actually those tails are availible over ebay. I saw a pair a few weeks ago.

Screw that. How about the fact that Thailand has the civic that we've all been wishing Honda will update our civics with. The 2.0L iVTEC engine. And no I don't think its the Si, but a regular civic with a 2.0L engine. I know at least one of those Asian countries has the 2.0L in their civic coming out for 2004 (like already out or soon). There was a thread about it awhile back.

Some of the Asian countries already have the 2.0 L i-vtec. I guess we have it too the SiR(Si) hatch, but it would be nice to see it in the coupes or sedans. But as usual North America always gets shafted with cars.

me and my gurl went by alberta honda today
i kind of want the white sir.. the 2003 are sweet with the oem kit and spoiler... hmmm wonder what changes will be made to the 2004..

ya but if i trade my car up next yr its either a white sir or a white typeS
hmmm of course typeS but the sir is a pretty sweet car!!

I had the same thoughts, I will wait till next year and see what happens then I will decide if I want a new car.

If was to buy a new car, I would go with the SiR for two reasons. Unique very very rare not too many of them. and it is a civic !! And there are too many rsx's on the road.

I agree that the SIR is a pretty sweet car. I thought I buy the dam thing until I saw that the shifter was coming out of the consol. That just totally turned me off!!!!!

The dash mounted shifter is the one of the most unique aspects of that car.

when i fist saw it i thought it might be in a uncomfortable spot

but my friends tell its SweeT... its soooo easy and convenient to shift..

i think it looks pretty sweet.. something different..
