Check out the specs for the Asia area (Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand) Civic Sedan. Almost all the countries listed get the 1.7L sohc vtec, and get this "rear disc brakes" !!! Unbelieveable !!! If this ever makes it to our shorelines that would be great, but knowing how Honda North America runs probally not. But then again we have the Acura EL. Opinions ???

Some of the Asian countries already have the 2.0 L i-vtec. I guess we have it too the SiR(Si) hatch, but it would be nice to see it in the coupes or sedans. But as usual North America always gets shafted with cars.

If was to buy a new car, I would go with the SiR for two reasons. Unique very very rare not too many of them. and it is a civic !! And there are too many rsx's on the road.
