New missing link valve!
It seems that synapse engineering has come up with a new missing link specifically for our D17 - the ML004! I've searched around, and it seems you may be able to get these for about $50-70. Not a bad deal....
yep heres the link http://www.synapseengineering.com/html/ml004.html

its sure is cleaner than having a bunch of check valves.

Wait.... right from the website:
Eliminates MAP sensor related Check Engine lights
for turbo/supercharged Honda and Acura cars.
Produces infinitely adjustable boost pressures requiring
no adjustment to Missing Link Valve
Smoothens vacuum to boost transition, eliminating MAP
sensor related misfires and hiccups
Eliminates numerous check valves for a show quality,
professional appearance
Eliminates the costly chance of a destroyed MAP sensor
due to boost operation beyond sensor design parameters

Yeah...
Grey did buy one, but it was the ML001 - which says for 2001 civic. BUT the ML001 does not fit properly. The ML004 says that it is specific for the D17 application (also the K20). So this one will fit!
I've noticed that most of the turbo kits out there do not include this important piece of hardware. The only one that seems to is SFpowers - but its not a "missing link" brand, it appears his is homemade or something.
I found dealers that carry the LM001-3 on their websites (click on the dealer links listed on synapse engineering's page), but they don't list the LM004. My GUESS is that the LM004 would be the same price, as they list about $50-60 or so for the other three......
It just keeps on getting better....

I don't think you will need it. If you look here:
http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...threadid=92677
One of the things listed is:
"map sensor isolation valve."
Like I said, I think they made it or something, I don't have any more info on it - but it serves the same purpose.
