wuups "Power to Weight Ratio"
power to weight
I would say power to weight ratio from a "cheap" aspect...would have to be a '92 hatch with a ls block and type r or gsr head for vtec....or from the "boosted" standpoint a '92 hatch with ls block and head boosted....we see a lot of these around my area and at Gaineville Int. Raceway....
However, I would love for my 7thgen to be fast as hell....k20
I have seen some
sick sick sick
turbo kits for the k20....
Can you imagine the sleeper?

Ok......
This got off subject.
Anyhow. I fumble with this problem to, I want an rsx swap and a turbo, and dohc. But for the 5.5k for the swap or maybe more, you can rebiuld your motor, and be able to handle more boost.
I can't decide myself, either way you will eventually have to rebiuld any motor to handle more and more boost.
So, should I get a k20, and if so, si/rsx, or rsx-s motor, with boost.
Or run the civic motor with boost and a rebiult motor... hmm...
help.
But anyway, nice ride redvic. I am jealous.
What do you think about this decision?
Running 8 psi that is great numbers, and once I have the money to do some internals, I could save for a turbo set up and get more out of it, but the question still remain.. even running 18 psi, you would probably just be hitting 350 at most. Unless you have an intake manifold, throttle body, and a cam gear and pulleys, 350 would be hard for us.
Please advise..

Nice car and decent install but not very scary even on 18psi

if not faster depends on the driver, clutch, axles, tires, & track conditions

I calculated it out, with your same setup, you should theoritically run 352.75 whp at 18 psi.
Assuming you can with stock interals.. otehrwise this number should be higher.. will post after i get out of work..

-How about a Boosted H22 in a Crx...
Now how on gods earth are you going to make a street legal boosted H22 in a Crx when an H22 motor alone has to be shoe horned in??? please explain... Please! Also people tend to forget about traction! Try to get a 2000lbs Coffin on wheels to hook with an H22 alone! Are you going to drive with Slicks on the mean streets of Cali? Yet again

Not every one drives like an idiot on the street trying to peel out from stop lights.
And street legal means is passes smog, has brakes and lights. Nothing too hard about that honestly.
There are plenty of sub 2000lb EG hatchbacks with H22's driving around socal and you wouldnt know it till they got on it.
and i wouldn't say it has to be shoe horned in either, and besides that, you get a custom manifold to deal with clearance issues so once again.
nice going champ

ok BRO! listen... you CANNOT, I repeat CANNOT have a H22 in a Crx without Shoehorning the **** outta it! Now try to find enough space in to fit a turbo exhaust manifold... YOU CAN'T!!! no it's not Impossible because you can always move the firewalll back... make custom mounts... or make a tube chassis... But then the car would not be STREET LEGAL!!! get where i'm coming from??? True H22's in EG'S are not shoehorned but when did I ever said they were??? I know an H22 in a EG does quick 1/4 mile times... mid 13s to be exact but we werent talking about EG'S... we were talking about Crx's with Hella small engine bays! Alright my brotha!

LoL since when are mounts not street legal? or moving the firewall and actually you dont have to move the firewall back, you get a custom cross member, and place racing is working on a kit that will drop a H22 into a crx without any other work and yes turbos will fit.
Stop living in your fantasy world and come back to reality.
1 gallon fuel cell with a pump that puts out 300 gallons a minute? That works out to like 12 seconds worth of cooling. Or is the pump variable? Still a sweet sweet setup. But for the roughly 25k(I'm assuming 15k for the car) total you spent I personally would have bought something else. But thats just me. Great job on the chosen platform.

and to put the turbo on you have to move the ac condenser and the radiator(92/95) down and forward under the hood latch .you lose the stock strut rods put in custom rods that go
further out on the sides where thr crossmember used to bolt on .oh yea dont for get to cut the floor to lower the shifter asembly down about an inch or so to fit the cables in and keep the shifter below radio and thats just for starters

And the shifter assembly inlet.
You also need an acuator for the hydro clutch. as for the stock sturt rods all ive seen keep them.

the integra axles i think have a differant spline an the trans. and the shift linkage on the acura is a rod not cables like the h22 and the strut rods hit the trans and the crank pulley unless you stick the motor out of the hood
