i agree. I want to see the results from a car like ours not something else. I own a Civic with a D17 not and Teg LS so please find a way to dyno this thing with our engine block that way all the people thinking about buying from you will know what they are getting, hence more business and money for you

Sorry, my bad - D16 - it's a Civic not an Integra.

The reason we aren't doing the D17A is that we don't have one up and running here. Believe me, I would love to dyno a D17A, but it's just not available to me.

I can't give away a kit, but yeah, I'll dyno someones D17A. We just started selling them Friday night, but once our customers start to get them installed I'm sure we'll get some willing testers.

The purpose of dyno'ing the D16 is to give you guys an idea of what our kits can do.

I apollogize for the comments made by catalyst he's just a little excited about his turbo system. Before I turboed his fist car I made him do a mountian of reserch on turbos and airflow dynamics so he would understand why I built the systems the way I do.Unfortionatly the side affect is an over edgucated, over zelous, under restrained average honda guy. He has no buisness posting on this site about my kit or talking bad about anybody elses kit .We've not done any head to head comparasions so i don't want him making any premature judgements .Again I apologize and I will ask him not to post here again I hope this hasn't pissed anyone off to bad.

Talk up the SF kit as much as he wants. Just dont come here bashing other people's hard work. There are pros and cons to both kits. In the end, each kit should do well.

A few things:

Like the last few posts, Catalyst should post, just maybe mellow a bit. Competition can only be good for the consumer, right? I don't mind a head to head comparison, but talk like this:

should be left for the school yard.

Regarding the HI shipping on the last page, I just got word that we can charge the actual cost of UPS to HI (I think 3 day is the cheapest they'll do) and then we'll discount the average price of a UPS Ground. So you'll still pay more for HI, but you still "save" the same amount on shipping. Get it?

Lastely, neither kit comes with any dials. The extreme kit comes with our
fuel management system. This system has an in-cabin computer that will tell you how much boost you are getting after each run.

Here is what comes in the Superior Kit:
Garrett T25 BB Turbo
Down Pipe
Manifold
Fuel Pressure Regulator
Map Unit
Oil Return Line
Air Filter w/ Pipping

Here is what comes in the Extreme Kit:
Everything that comes in the Superior Kit
Injection Control Unit
Inector Interfact Block with Injectors
Blow Off Valve
Intercooler / tubes / mounting hardware

Oh okay. Yah, I think I got it. Thanks for doing what you could with the shipping costs and helping the Hawaii people out!

I agree with Spider, thnaks for the patience it wont go un-noticed. As far as the parts do you offer anything such as a wastgate and gauges or are these things needed to be purchased outside your company.
And for some of the compnents what are the brands your using or are these in house?

Thanks to both of you, I'm having fun - this is the only board I'm frequenting right now (I wouldn't have time for another!) but the D17A is an important kit. You guys are worth the time.

The T25 / T25BB has a wastegate, that wouldn't need to be purchased seperatly.

We don't sell any guages yet, but we're looking into what accessories we can sell that would compliment our turbo kits. I was hoping to have more time at SEMA IAS to look around, but I wound up being stuck in the booth the entire time. If there is something you guys want, let me know and I'll see what I can do to get it added to our site.

as a suggestion a downpipe that is under 2" is to small for a FI setup even for our little D17.. my downpipe on my NA set up is 2-1/4? and i was hoping that the Turbo downpipe would be as big or 1/4" bigger for better flow... so the T25 BB has a internal waste gate which is already set to 6lbs or do we need an external controler?? thanks

Is there anyway to get bigger IC piping? Say 2 1/4 maybe 2 1/2?? I'm just thinking bigger piping will give a bit better numbers. And whats the size on the IC and how many core's is it? Thanks alot

I apologize for my comments. I just think that the kits should be fully tested on the car that they were made for. by that i mean they should have dyno numbers, and they should have been tested for at least 1000 miles. I have tested the SF kit for about 3000 miles now, and i am just jazzed. I also like to see hard evidence, because i learned (the hard way) that you cant estimate something. i am sure you have seen the differences in percentage gains in your kits, so maybe you have a basis on expected gains for the car. In most of my comments, i tried to ask some valid questions, and they turned into an overblown reaction (somewhat due to my friends standing behind me while im typing).

I would be more than excited to see the two kits side by side, and test them against eachother. Until that happens, i will calm down and only ask valid questions.

TrboDiscounters.... im sorry

You don't need bigger pipes... it's air under pressure and you're not going to be running high boost. The smaller the pipe... the faster the air reaches the TB. Larger piping just has the ability to flow that same amount of air, but at a slower rate. Theoretically.

Smokie.... Bigger piping means more airflow. Theoretically, you can flow more air at the same speed. That is why Porting your head, getting bigger throttlebodies, and bigger exhausts give you more power. The size of the piping all depends on how much power you want to make, and your taste in size.
