Stafford Fab. has the only real way of doing a fuel system for these cars, and it doesnt require a return line likle most people think. And it doesnt need a new fuel rail, new injectors, or anything. Works with all stock parts.
How hard is it to install your fuel kit? is it easier than 3 wires, a fuel in and fuel out?

Rep Power: 288 SFpower is making one for the EX. the only difference is the downpipe. If you guys want it that bad, just buy the LX kit, and have a muffler shop modify your exhaust to work. it isnt that much of a difference. I work at a muffler shop and we would charge someone $30 to do the modification.

Rep Power: 288 if you do what turbo performance says and add RSX infectors/fuel pump/fuelrail, you will run rich as hell all the time, and then you will only be good for about 5 psi of boost at max.

Rep Power: 288 i read on the Apex website that the SAFC will not work with our cars. They said that if you bought one, you shouldnt install it until they can figure out the problem and fix it.

Rep Power: 288 SFpower is making a turbo for the EX. The ONLY difference between the LX and EX turbo kits, is the length of the downpipe. The LX has a longer downpipe. That is it. The ONLY difference.

Rep Power: 288 SFpower is going to send the kits out in the mail. He is waiting to post the group buy because he has to register for that vender membership thing. As soon as he pays for that, he will post the group buy.

Rep Power: 0 catalyst why do you knock so hard on turbo discounters turbo kit? I would like to know what you know. Maybe compare your turbo kit with theirs and let everyone know the differences between them ^^ to help people decided which kit to invest in.

Rep Power: 288 well, the first thing is the T25. If you ever want to make more than a 250 whp max, you cant use a T25 because they wont flow enough CFM of air. You can only make about 250 whp when you port the entire turbo out.
They use a cast log style manifold. Sf's is a 4-1 hand made one.
They use extra injectors, SF's uses the stock injectors
They say they have a 56% increase on any car (nissan, toyota, mazda)
Well, with this fuel system, header and turbo setup, SF's kit layed down almost 350 whp on a CRX. They get their HP increases by using the (somewhat true) hp * atm = powergain equation. Theoretically, if you run 8 psi of boost, you should gain around 56% hp at sea level. BUT, what they dont bring in is the density factor, and the heat factor. If you run 8 psi on a hot day, you will make MUCH MUCH less than on a cold day. and when you are at sea level, the air is more dense, which means every pound of boost is actually more effective because there is more air in the charge. And when you compress air, you create heat. The intercooler helps with this heat, but it does not bring the heat down as far as you need to generate that 56% increase. They should dyno test their kit on a completely stock car and then post the numbers. Not take their gains from some damn equation which doesnt take heat and density into account.
I am sure that this kit will work, and you will gain some horsepower...
But I doubt that you will gain 56% without running more boost, and with that log style manifold, the spool up time for that T25 will be about the same as my T3.

Rep Power: 288 I am not just saying this out of my A$$, i do this to the greddy kits and DRAG kits and Revhard kits for the earlier civics. The reason SF is making these kits is because of the complete lack of quality kits for the every day guy. He is giving everyone a hand made kit, for $200 less than the mass produced, stamped out stuff that you can get from these other guys.
Also, i am not part of SF's company, so dont yell at him for my opinions. I am just a 4 time customer of his turbo kits, and i know the difference between all of these parts by experiance.

at least my kit comes with a down pipe that fits an lx and you can easily modify your ex exh. until i get an ex in the shop to install my system andbuild a completly new header to make it work with the stock ex exh. any volinters???
