04-05 Em2 k24a2 awd Swap

Okay so this is my first post and Idk if I put it in the right section but I have a em2, I want to buy and put a k24a2 from a 2004 to 2008 tsx in my car, I'm gonna use a 03 to 08 element 4wd trans case and I want to put the tsx trans internals inside, I believe all can be swapped but the diff and I'm using element trans because I'm pretty sure it's the same vss as the tsx, I already got element rear suspension and front subframe for Swap gonna get mounts for rear crv diff and motor/trans mounts soon, the main thing I need help with is the electronics, I don't understand wiring harness, ecu, abs, vss, are all of these compatible with each other since almost nothing is gonna be like stock?

Again I'm sure there's hundreds of these post but i feel like i can more definite answers from doing it myself

Re: 04-05 Em2 k24a2 awd Swap

There's really no AWD activity on this forum. I made a post about it a while back you can check out. There's some info on rear ABS sensors. That's the only thing that affects ABS.

What engine harness are you using? K24a2?
What ECU are you planning on using? K24a2? Something else with Kpro?

I used stock K20a2 harness with matching ECU after my first swap. I then did a 2.4L block swap and got Kpro on the K20a2 ECU. Ran a stock K24a2 tune with that engine for a while. Wiring was very simple.

I haven't done the swap yet but I've seen your post and Im mostly going off of it actually, I'm planning on using k24a2 harness and ecu but I seen something about kpro not working with the k24a2, and can you give me more information about the abs sensor and if all should work?

With the K24a2 ECU you could get FlashPro instead. However, it's only necessary if you want to get it tuned. Stock ECU running the stock engine shouldn't be a problem, you just have to work out the wiring. Look for an adapter harness if you don't want to do it yourself.

For the ABS sensor, there's some info in my post.

The rear axles can be modified to have to stock style tone ring. A custom mount bracket is needed for the wheel speed sensor.
