What about the k24z7?

Anyone swap this motor into their 7th gen? I might be able to get my hands on one, with tranny, ecu, whatever I want from the car really, for cheap as dirt.

k24s are taller, think you need to do some clearancing on the hood, and possibly other areas, that's why people do franken k-swaps

Re: What about the k24z7?

Yeah, that I know, I think hasport or someone has a mount that lowers it down enough. But what I was curious about is if this newer k24 is much different then the older ones as far as what you need to do to swap it. Could I use this k24 with the 6spd trans like I could with the older ones? I would use the RBC Intake manifold, so I would be getting rid of the drive by wire, that's the only thing that I know that would need to change.
