Just wondering if it's at all possible to swap the 2015 si into a 2005 ex. I know it would take a lot of work if it's possible.

Unless you have lots of fab skills no, plus the computer is going to freak out because it's not going to see everything that it's used to seeing. Much better off to use parts from an rsx

05/06 try to get the whole car if you can, then you know you have all the parts. Plus you can swap over the suspension and hubs to do a 5 bolt conversion

Is it hard to swap a k20? I've never swapped an engine but I am mechanically inclined. I believe I could do it myself I'm trying to keep from paying a butt load for labor.

not terrible, there's a thread on here where a guy k swapped with an auto trans, had lots of pictures and explanations. can't find the thread at the moment.
everything lines up besides one engine or trans mount you need to move to the other side of the car and re spot weld it
or you spend a ton of money and get the aftermarket mount kit.
