would 770 shipped be a "decent" price for this?

If your feeling confident..

You could probably pick up a cheap D16 crank in good shape for a steal, since many more 6th gen civics are being parted and build a destroked d17. It can and has been done.

Is there any gains to using the d16crank? Or is it the same but much easier to find/afford.
I'm sorry to show my nubness but I don't understand what stroked and destroked means...

Read this thread when you have time, it should answer all the basic questions about a destroked d17. A d16 crank is definitely less difficult to find and likely less expensive.

Re: What parts are necessary to achieve 250-300whp.

This was a good question.

" The question I would likeanswered,is would higher RPMs(1.6L) with the same turbo as the non-destroked engine ultimatlyproduce more power, since the number of RPMs would (i guess?)pack more airflow "time"than the2.0Lwould atlessRPMs.Or would it equalize?"

And how do you find and gauge the new ratio of rpm?

And untimately what's the point??
