Turbo Help

I have a 7th gen, stock, automatic, 01, LX. I am in the market for a turbo kit. I'm currently looking into getting the Turbo Specialties TSI Extream Turbo Kit. Does anyone know if thats a good one? If not do you know of any good ones?

your best bet is to peice together your own kit. it can be cheaper and possibly better quality if you buy good parts.

Jesus man, look in my sig block. There's a link that says "My terbow shopping list and tips thread". That should give you a good idea.

turbo's are over-rated and often make cars slower. i say go NA.

ok, seriously. go read the boost/swap forum until your eyes bleed. Plenty of info there.

Clint we all know that that terbow list is missing one thing... vtec fluid... anytime you boost a civic you have to add more vtec fluid

if you want to go turbo and you know nothing about it its smart not to do a turbo kit... because then you dont run into the chance of breaking it because you dident relize it needed to cool down after long driving or that it needs to warm up a little before you can hard drive it. my suggestion get you self a preturboed car and get it tuned. that way you can learn from a fool proof system. hahahha get your self a saab. learn a little and read speedfoos thread
