need some ideas
so im about to come into some money and looking for a good way to spend it on my 01 civic...i really want to boost it, but need some input on the stuff that i will need to prepare for it...i plan to boost on stock internals for the time being, but id like to know some other mods that will coincide with a turbo...

You can pick up a cat back. Pulleys are a bad idea except for the power steering pulley, the others will underdrive your alternator and screw up your block/crank. Clutch doesnt need to be done for turbo- stock will hold if your still boosting on stock internals. Intake manifold will be fine as well- you wont crack it.
You really should focus on getting your turbo parts first, and doing the swap, before you go looking for other frilly parts to waste money on.

I'm gonna say no, he did not.
Stock clutch will start to slip above 160whp.
For an "ECU" you either need to run kpro or a piggyback EMS.
Take some time, look around the site, educate yourself a little on what goes into a turbo build (and why), and then come back with a build thread that lays out your plans and put your more specific questions in there.
