sometimes when i drive rarely since its not fixed, my car breaks up and sounds like a subaru and theres no power is that like spark plugs or what? im pretty sure its nothing serious, but it scares me

Although Triz is right and we neeed more details, i'm gonna make a suggestions anyways. Get your timing checked. Sounds like it's really advanced causing detonation in your cylinders. If this is the case it will hurt your piston, spark plug, catalytic converter and **** your car. Hope this helps inspire you.

off topic but ya so im driving and all of a sudden the engine starts putting and car falls on its face, likes its goin to die, rpms drop real low and has a real idle problem, only way i get out of it is to give it more gas and it puts its way out of it ofr a while then it comes back.

but this only happens after driving the car for over 30 mins

sounds like the car might be going in limp mode. You might want ot check your oil..sometimes in the vtec models, if your car is too low on oil it'll go into limp mode to prevent engine damage when you go into vtec.

Off course this is just a guess...since you haven't told us what model civic you have, yr, trim level, mileage.

We can pull a out of reasons out of our butt until you give us more info.

02 lx with broken trans only have 2nd gear (auto), the D lights flashes constantly. and CE light.

A CEL? Go to autozone and get them to plug an odb2 scanner in to see whats going on- it'll return the codes for the reasons why your car is "falling on its face"

i ahve my own scanner and it wont go off cuz of the trans

i was thinking that thats y it moght be doing that but we'll find out after i do the trans swap next week

haha i ran 8 psi. brake launched the **** out of it and right after i spun through first =) the trans was gone =( lols
