You're welcome, but you've just gotta let the TSI thing go. As soon as the FIC arrives, throw away the TSI injectors and install your RSX injectors. Although the F/IC can control 6 injectors, you're asking for trouble trying to wire in the TSI injectors, plus you won't need them with your RSX injectors.

The FIC doesn't control a VTEC solenoid either so you will still need to run a VAFC, EX ECU, or something else to control the VTEC solenoid. I guess the only other option to that would be to run an RPM window switch to the VTEC solenoid so you could have the solenoid engage at a certain RPM. While this is not ideal, it would work. Basically it would be a homebrew VAFC that allows engages the VTEC at a set RPM. You would just need to figure out the voltage the solenoid needs to engage, wire it in, and you now have complete control over your VTEC engagement. These switches can be had for anywhere from $50-120. If you're at all handy with electronics, it wouldn't be that hard to wire in.

Here's a nice MSD one.

Good idea. That's the best route for your setup aside from going with k-pro which will do everything for you in one shot. Of course it's twice as expensive as the F/IC+VAFC route, but well worth it IMO. I'm ditching my piggyback (PCS-XFC) this fall for it.
