Smile Emanage update problem

Hi !! I installed my emanage on my d17a2 and the first thing i noticed was that the interaction light was turned on. Anyways , it did get online when i pluged in and i did some tuning. Later on i did the main unit update and it took like 5 hours and it never finished, so i canceled it and turned the ignition off. Now when i try to connect with my laptop it says that it is online but the only thing that it lets me do is the update but like the first time it never finishes. I was like : what tha f....! I did bought it used so maybe its damaged or something. Can anyone help me? . Thks

Re: Emanage update problem

maybe the com port settings are messed up. are you using the genuine greddy cable? are you using a serial to usb adapter? the only thing i can think of right now is that something in the wire is messed up. i had the same problem, but all i did was mess with the com port settings (device manager) and it fixed the problem. the emanage update should only take a minute if anything do if it takes 5 minutes then there is something wrong.
