ok heres the deal i have K20a3 swap civic with greddy turbo. Had no ac bought all the parts and put ac back in last summer ever since ive had these problems. When comeing to a stop cars idel drops and then kicks back up again, it also does this when the compressor kicks on i turned idel up on k-pro and it didnt really help. also when i drive and the ac is on it will blow cold then suddenly start blowing hot then cold etc. its also 100^ so im thinking is might have someting to do with the heat im thinking about adding another fan for cooling with this help?

if you overfill it... that causes the compressor to work harder and come on and off a lot... happened to mine.. so i just got the lines vacummed out and refilled by the local a/c shop.. it worked like normal for about a month...but then i guess the compressor was working to hard when it was overfilled so it eventually took a dump.. changed the compressor out and everythings fine again

its reading about 30psi on the low and i cant even get the guage on the high side because there is so much pressure on the line,so im sure its pretty high. I do think the it was over filled at one time. There is a small amount of dye leaking out around the compressor but the pressure holds stedy around 30.
I thinkng the compressor is fixing to take a dump. Xproductionz where did you get your compressor, and how much. maybe if i can hold out until fall or winter i can pick one up for cheap. but i still think im going to add the extra fan.

bought everything for import auto salvage, www.importautosalvage.com. i bought everything a/c related off a civic si. Some of the lines have to be bent ever so slightly to fit, but it does. does any one have any idea why my idel drops when i come to a stop and the air is running.

if its overfilled compressor has to work harder.. i would fix the compressor and a/c cooling problem first before i worry about the idle..

it might be related.. getting rid of one problem might fix the next.. it did for me

my idle drops a little after i drive and come to a stop when i'm using my ac also. Not sure why as of yet, but as long as the car doesn't die then i'm good. I noticed it the other day...it only happens when the ac is on too. Nothing i can really do about it.

Also, just get yourself some flex-a-lite fans. I got the slim fans and those things suck air like none other. 1 fan can probably cool better than 2 stock fans. they are pricey though
