A/C OVERRIDE

What you will need: Two Fingers

Time Needed: 10 seconds.

Annoyed with how you can't turn off the A/C when you turn to defog? Here's the override (realize that A/C expediates the defog process).

These steps are taken from a discussion thread on 2k1civic.com


Turn Car Off
Turn Temperature **** To Full Blue (All the way to the left - Counter-Clock Wise)
Turn Vent **** To Off (All the way to the left - Counter-Clock Wise)
Hold Down Air Recirculation Button As Well As A/C Button
Keep Both Buttons Depressed and Start Car
Keep Both Buttons Depressed for 7 Seconds
*AC LIGHT SHOULD BLINK*

You will now have control of your A/C regardless of what setting you are in, to revert back, simply repeat the procedue.

Ya I know its old news but I spent like 4- 5 hours on 2k1 last night...just reading and reading and reading...fun fun....Wow....like I like the idea for Guadge Conversion with the vinyl transparancies....so.....I can't wait till summer.....Does anyone wanna do it with me....I like the all White idea for my console....looks sooo high end.....So if anyone wants to do it with me...in like a day that would be wicked...we can do like 3 cars a day...and if 3 of us do it on one car at a time...we will rock thru it.....cuz we will have to take the whole dash apart...ya know??? So we don't need to do the hard LED conversion...just change the color of everything....and make the vinyl blue white or what ever color you want.......PIX OF BLUE INTERIOR LIGHTS WITH NO LED CONVERSION

Well i wanted to get it in white. Then tint it hard, throw on spoon sports 16s, CF hood, and a turbo kit or something. or even an RSX R head swap eventually.

lmao the CF hood on the hatch is soooooooo small it looks like the hood on a toy car!!
apparently its supposed to be fairly fast though....only 0.5 seconds behind the 00 SiR in the quarter mile or something.
although 0.5 seconds is a fair amount when you think about it.....
