Check engine light help

ok so I have the dezod v3 kit w/ emanage & rsx injectors. Currently having problems with two codes.

P1298 - Electronic load detection. Found ELD connector on fuse box loose, plugged back in but still code persists. In process of checking all grounds & replacing eld tomorrow at work. We'll see what happens. Doubt this problem has to do with turbo setup?? Maybe emanage fried ELD?

P1105 - Barometer sensor. Built into stock ecu to detect barometic pressures. Used to help tune engine in all atmosphere, now i know this has to do with the turbo. It's probably freaking out because it see's 22 psi of pressure entering my motor! Now my question is has anyone else had problems with this one emanage and if so what can I do.

I'm thinking the barometer is not going to be controllable with emanage I'll just have to keep clearing it..

Or......will a missing link help solve my problem??????

Re: Check engine light help

2nd one is the map sensor. enable the voltage clamp in emanage.
Not sure on the 1st one. I think its a code for the ECU itself.

Re: Check engine light help

ok I'll check the voltage clamp tonight. Hopefully I can figure it out. I couldn't get my laptop to connect to my emanage. I hope I don't erase the maps when I try to connect.

Also, does emanage store the maps even if it is disconnected for battery removed???

Oh, and yes the emanage has a pressure sensor addon - I have it installed / it gives you some other input for fuel thats all.

Re: Check engine light help

What kind of voltage do you "run" with emanage MAP voltage clamp?

Re: Check engine light help

well I'd like to answer that but when I try to connect my emanage with my greddy emanage cable w/ adapter (same one my tuner used) & I cannot get the software to come online. The interaction LED goes solid & now matter what com port I try the emanage never says online! Anyone got any suggestions. I do have all the drivers for the serial to usb adaptor?????

Replaced the ELD in the fuse box, drove tonight & now codes came back on. I will see in the morning. It usually comes on first thing in the morning 1 block from my house on the dot!

Re: Check engine light help

Ok so I've had good luck so far, car is running & driving great!
I get code P1106 - Baro sensor but I can't enable the voltage clamp on my emanage. My laptop will not connect..

However my current problem is intermittent misfire codes for cyl #1,2,3,4 & multiple cyl misfire. The car does not misfire, on cold start up the car sounds like it has a cam on for about 10-15 seconds then idles smooth & continues to until the next cold start. I'm waiting to see it come on agains so I can pull freeze frame & try to determine where & why it's coming on.

I once had this problem when my valve cover gasket was leaking on my spark plugs.....I'll pull them and check tomorrow.

Any other greddy emanage users have similiar problem with an easy fix????
