Turns but wont start!
if piston number 1 is at tdc and the crank is at tdc and the cam gears are at tdc then your fine there. Hows the tension on the belt?? is it tight how it should be or loose like the sleeve of a wizard.
I would assume you had the head milled or checked to make sure it isnt warped. If you have it at tdc of #1 and the cam marks aligned all sensors plugged in spark and fuel it will start. Did you install new plugs? Becuase if it was overheating the plugs could be fouled. or even if you did check them to see if cylinders are free of unburnt fuel.
i did not check to see if the head was warped but the spark plugs are in GOOD condition so i am using them.... like i said before i have the cam and crank on tdc i think its just time before i get the timing right .. i am doing all this on sunday if i dont get it right i am taking it to my friend, he has a shop, he can **** with that stupid *** honda, i ****ing hate honda
dont hate the car becuase you didnt know what you were doing.
Did you replace the gasket because the car overheated?? Thats why the head would be warped, i got the impression you were replacing it just because you wanted to.
From everything you have going on, its a timing issue. Take the time and do it right AGAIN, make sure its right.

Did you ever get it fixed, I am having the same problem and will be rechecking everything today with my mechanic. It almost acts like it is not getting fuel, but before I replaced everything, the car ran great. I just had to replace the water pump and now this. I would like to know if you ever got your car fixed and what was the problem.
last thing i checked was the compression and i had none, so i took off the head back off and found out that i bent the valves (somehow, i spund the crank before i started the car) anyways i replaced the valves and now i am back in the games, hopefully i will tune it on monday!!!! hell yes
