I know I posted similiar to this a few weeks agoa and there are a ton of threads on here about this. but i cant decided what to do... I can get an RSX type "s" motor and tranny for 950.00, I can also get the Jackson racing SC for it for 500.00 is it worth the 1500.00 bucks for this swap ?.....I want to build the motor alittle before it is swapped. what is the most HP I can get out of all this ? stupid question I know. I want to get 350-400? is this possible with out spending silly cash. I'm sick of my civic being slow and low lol....

must be stolen, that price is a STEAL for the motor, tranny, and s/c.

Does sound very very low for any of that. I would check the serial numbers on all that stuff and make sure to do a leak down test and have the guys number ready for when you go to start it up and it does nothing. lol or else when the cops come and say you have a stolen motor.

Unless you get kpro you have to go to an Acura/Honda dealer and get your ecu reflashed, to do that they run the vin of the motor and see if it is stolen.

honda is going to check the vin under the hood. they just type in your dash vin, and the numbers on the computer. So, as long as you have a legal computer your good.

well it's offical....I bought the parts. I knew the parts werent stolen because they came out of my buddies RSX, he crashed it and totalled it. he gave me the parts cheep b/c they've been sitting around his garage for about a year or so....so here goes nothing, going to build the motor and then drop it in. hopefully it will be done by summers end !! I want 400 hp out of it, so we'll see how much money I have to dump into it !! thanks for your help

you do realize that you need more than just the motro and tranny right? you need the ecu, wiring harness, sub frame, axels. a bunch of other stuff is needed. hopefully he still ahs this stuff laying around too!!
