[ 4-5 lug conversion : via RSX swap ]
Ok, looking at the two following brake assembly links side-by-side:
2001+ Civic
2002+ RSX
It appears to me that all you would need, besides some new rims, would be:
A.) RSX - HUB ASSY., FR. (#6) - [5 Lug/Hub Assembly]
B.) RSX - DISK, FR. (16") (#14) - [5 Lug/Rotor]
Assuming that our front caliper would fit over the new rotor, (which it looks like it would, if not then you would have to buy the RSX caliper assembly aswell). And whether or not your new rims would house the rotor and caliper.
If this were true, then the 4-5 Lug Conversion would be cheaper than most people expect (100$/front corner). Thanx in part to the fact that the RSX and CIVIC are so similar chassis/suspension wise.
Also, it leads me to suspect that the rear RSX brake assembly can be used with the civic also. Using this 4-5 Lug Conversion. Allowing us to have rear-rotors. Although that's a bit more pricey.
Just thought you'd like to know, I see alot of people posting about this topic.
