Charging issues

I have a 93 civic hatch with a b20 swap it was running the original altenator till it went out I put the altenator that is meant for that engine wired in the right pigtail and its still not charging I need some ideas of what it could b

Does it die while driving or it won't start?

Inspect your ground wires and all related electrical connections, check engine grounds and battery grounds.

Well after looking it over I think I wired the new pig tail in wrong
