K20a2-T or new vette
the way i look at it is how many vettes do u see on the road? how many k20 swaped+turboed vics do u see on the road? not only that, but u'd have one fast *** car for the insurance of a vic...also if gas prices continue to go up, you turbo the boost down, what r u gonna do on a vette? ride the bus and brag? exactly. i'd swap.
I would say that 15,000 is to much $. If you were willing to DIY then you could easily do all of that for 10,000. With that in mind it really depends on what your goals in life are. Myself, my wife and I graduated from college 2yrs ago with both have good jobs making good $. I have put alot of time and $ into my civic to make it handle great. I autox and do very well with it. I still have 2yrs left to pay on it. I was debating the same thing you are. I went with the swap, becuase even though we are doing well I would rather be done with car payments in 2yrs and keep it that way for a while. I can then invest my extra $ so some day I can pay $ for that vett (maybe even a new z06). In the mean time I have a mid 13sec car (I am not boosted like you would be) that handles great, I can afford a daily driver, and I can afford to take it to local road courses and risk it all. With a vett I would not have had any of that and in 15yrs I would be like one of those guys you see now driving a beat to **** sting ray (except mine would be a beat to **** c6).

This should not even be a question................get the Vette dude! You will not regret it nor will you ever want another type of sportscar. Believe me, I am on my 4th one now. You can pick up an '02 ZO6 for under $30k nowadays. Also the vette gets 28-31 MPG on the highway if you dont get in it all the time and keep the cruise on.

As a Ferrari owner once told me "you can make it as fast as you want but it will still always be a Corvette".......................well it will always be a Honda Civic.
