I got my new clutch in today!!!
Here is my new Exedy Cerametallic sprung hub 3-puck
Check out the fingers on the pressure plate! They are much thicker than stock, and they are double layered. This should have one hell of a stiff pedal.

It is an MSD 45 GPH pump.
It SHOULD be enough to power ~500 hp @ 45 psi. But i was somewhat sceptical. But it was on sale, and with that savings it allowed me to buy a TiAL blow off valve instead of a Bosch one. So i am going to try it out, and if i run out of fuel, i will simply upgrade to a 65 GPH or larger.

It is an exedy cerametallic sprung-hib 3 puck.
I didnt know that the base plate was copper until i saw it in person. A good suprise when i saw it. It is ultralight. ACT was kinda pissing me off with their sponsorship. Last year they wanted to sponsor me, streetlight flywheel, 6 puck disc with extreme pressure plate.... all for $300. I told them i would pick it up when the motor was ready. So i re-submit my proposal, and they tell me the prices had changed. But wouldnt tell me how much i would have to pay. I went back to them (their office is literally 2 miles from my house) 3 times over 2 weeks, and couldnt get a price. So i said screw it and started searching for a different clutch.
Anyway, i have more updates. I was hoping to have the motor in the car today, but we lost a dowel pin for the clutch, then couldnt find the clutch bolts, then couldnt find the flywheel bolts, i had to buy $60 in misc fittings and steel braided lines, etc, etc, etc.
If you look close enough in the 3rd picture, you can see the built motor that is going in the 56. Only thing we are waiting on for that is the new carbon-fiber drive shaft and aluminum cross member, and flywheel to bolt the Tremec 56 6 speed in

I couldnt get any more 1' -4 straight to -4 90* steel braid lines. So i am using those until they get more in stock.
Anyway, i have another update....
The motor is in the car, and ready to start. BUT, i dont have a serial port on my laptop so i cannot upload a base map. So the car cant start until tomorrow. But i did install the pressure regulator, and get the fuel pressure set properly. And there arent any fuel leaks with my new feed line installed. So that is nice also. I also found out that there is no way in hell that this thing will fit under the stock plastics. So i guess the whole under-hood sleeper thing is dead.
Here are some pictures....

you've still got the stock air box covering a lot of the fuel stuff and intake manifold... if the sleeper look totally fails on you then you should just make the turbo manifold and slap it on there like the other kits that you made...
you've come this far and i would suck to make a new one, lets just see how your sleeper setup would respond to boost and your fuel maps... see ya next weekend bro..

I put an AMAZING 18 miles on it today.
Amazing is the only way to describe it.
Once i got the fuel map uploaded, it fired right up and purred perfectly. Interestingly enough, the car is quieter than it was before. It has a slight lope to it at idle, which i found interesting. But the clutch..... well thats another story.
The clutch is extremely aggressive. It grabbs much harder than the ACT solid-hub 6-puck that i used to have. It is a bit harsh, but nothing that i cant get used to. When downshifting, you MUST rev-match. If you dont, it will actually chirp the tires from the engine braking. Also, i have been rev-matching while up-shifting also, it makes for a much smoother shift. But i can actually chirp 3rd gear when normally shifting at ~50% throttle and 4000 rpm. It is nuts.
Anyway, there were no major problems today. I had a small fuel leak off my pressure regulator, but a wrench fixed that right up.
Oh yea, i also wired in the MAP sensor backwards, and had the wrong tach signal. So i fixed those quickly with no problems.
But the car feels very strong. I havent gone past 50% throttle, and not about 4300 rpm. And it feels noticably stronger than stock. And i am running an LX tranny now instead of the EX, and it still feels stronger than the stock D17A2 with the EX tranny.
I am way tired though. So i am going to build the rest of the turbo system next weekend. So this week will be all NA.
