Rep Power: 261 i turbod my CRX when it had 265,000 miles on it. It lasted until 305,000 miles, but it broke because i was greedy. 20 psi of boost is a little much to ask of a stock single cam.

Rep Power: 400 Milage doesn't matter as much as how much compression and blow by there is.
Get a compression/Leakdown test done, see if the motor's still healthy

Rep Power: 0 honda motors are built to last forever as daily drivers...
bolt on a turbo kit and being a lil more careful about the up keep on the car will keep the motor running strong...

Rep Power: 0 ^^ wut they said, from what ive hear u might also want to look into getting most maintanence work done before u slap one on there. Like getting a compression test,^^ get ur headgasket replaced while also getting the timing belt and water pump replaced. Just my 2cents, i got just as many miles as u do and my compression is still perfect. Now i just need to find my ***** and get this thing on there.!

Rep Power: 0 when you have so many miles that you have rods knockin or your rings are shot so bad you're changing oily plugs every other day then you have too many miles to turbo but not until then
edit: of course I'm exaggerating a lil but, its mostly true....doesnt matter how many miles as long as the engine is in good working order.

Rep Power: 0 ok well all that helps. can any mechanic do a compression leak test or should i go to the honda dealership and have it done? as a matter of fact, im getting new clutch, possible sychros or possible new tranny. should i as them to do a compression test?? its still under powertrain warranty till 100k, think they will do it for free?

Rep Power: 787 there is your answer. if the compression is too high due to not taking care of the motor (carbon buildup), then it increases the amount of problems you'll have later on.

Rep Power: 787 well yea get a low mileage engine on ebay for $400 and do the install yourself. its either that or tear up the old engine if you know how then its a tossup of how much work you're willing to do.

Rep Power: 0 I don't know much about your budget and I may of missed you stating how much you was looking to spend. If I was you, since your motor is already at 93k I would save a little more money then build the motor up. That away when you boost it, you can turn the boost up a little on a safe tune and enjoy it.
