a lot.
my best dyno was 235 whp and 200 tq. But my clutch let go at 4300 RPM. the torque stayed at 200 from 4300 to 6700.
best estimate is that i would have made ~ 230 or so torque if the clutch didnt slip

I'm not doubting this dude talent because I've seen his work and I know what he can do, but this setup looks wack man.
You should scrap all that **** and put it back to the way it was before. All that junk in there makes your set up look rediculous. Sorry, but thats just my opinion.

it is supposed to be completely hidden. Thats why it looks like that.
If i run a conventional turbo manifold, there is no hiding it. You would have to run such a large heat shield that it would be completely obvious.
With the heat shield i have, i can convince people that is is to direct cold air into the stock intake box. I am going to run a small pipe over to it and connect it to the box with a coupler. The pipe wont actually serve any purpose, but it will finish the look.
Also, if it doesnt make the power i want (425 whp), then i can always build a conventional system and say "screw sleeper setups"

Are 400 hp turbo SOHC motors common in your area? All that sleeper stuff goes out the window with one visit to the track with that monster. People will talk and they will have an angry mob looking for you on the streets, at redlights and even passing in front of the house to see if you are there.
Man I cant wait for your stuff to be done, hurry up already! lol

well, i take my plates off when i go to the track, and i never go directly home. We usually meet up somewhere and hang out for a while.
The car looks stock, besides my aftermarket 15" 8 spoke rims. The intercooler is black, and you cant see it unless you are within a few feet of the car. And my exhaust looks like i have a muffler tip.
The whole point is so nobody can pick my car out from all the rest of the ones out here.
There are a few quick cars out here. There are a few 10 sec hatchbacks, few 11 sec hatchbacks, 12 sec civics, etc. But there are soo few that if you go to the track on any given night, the fastest honda will probably be in the mid 14's. It is soo damn rare that someone goes bottom 14's or high 13's that when i went 13.6 in my civic, the people there went nuts. I had a crowd of 20 people standing around my car after i got kicked off (no helmet)
And nothing will blow their simple minds more than seeing a car go 11's, then looking under the hood and seeing stock plastics.

I have a plan to eliminate the sound of the spoolup, and also the BOV is a recirculatory valve instead of atmospheric. And my idea to eliminate the spoolup sound will also eliminate the sound of the recirc of air. hey turbo i have an idea on how to adapt the d17 tb to the gsr mani i have. i think i am goign to just use a tb spacer/ cutt off the old tb adaptor plate and weld on the spacer after i hone out the center to oprt match it to the mani. can you get me some pics of where you welded the mani to the injector plate for the d17. i am going to sart on this thing inthe next few days and i want to get an idea of how much i need to cut off compared to the gsr mani i have

you have to cut off about 1.5"
i dont have any good pictures, because the first cut i made was NOT STRAIGHT! It looked like i cut it right after drinking a 5th of vodka followed by some Rum and Coke.
I had to re-cut everything using a new fixture i had to make to keep everything straight.
In the last picture i posted above, you can see where i welded my TB adaptor to the manifold. Look right behind the TB

lol a N/A sounding/looking civic doing well under 14s. that will confuse everyone there hahah!
i saw that. i actually saw it in another pic and that is what gave me the idea of using the tb spacer as the adaptor. i am going to use a ban saw to cut. hopefully i can keep the cut straight enough to weld the injector plate on with out warping it at all. i just dont have acess to everything i need to use to make this work so instead of milling a plate to work or taking a chunk of aluminum and drilling i am just going ot use an already made adaptor(tb spacer)
do you know if sensor output is the same for the d17 and the gsr. i would assume it is. if so i may also use a tb off of a gsr. but u think that is going to be a little more expensive to achieve the same thing

i think the biggest problem would be the IAC. I dont know if that is the same.
Actually, i dont think the spacer would work! I was just typing "The TB spacer should work fine", but then i remembered that the TB is very close to the shifter linkages. I dont think you will have enough room to do that.
Thats the whole reason i used an 1/8" thick piece of aluminum instead of the 1/2" or 3/4" thick stuff i have.
I was going to use a piece of 3/4" and countersink the holes to bolt it to the manifold, then drill new holes for the D17 TB, but i didnt have enough room. So i cut out a piece of 1/8", welded it on, drilled/tapped the holes, and Viola..... intake manifold

maybe if i were to trim down the mani a little more where the tb mounts to allow enough space?? i will have to take a look at it tonight when i get home.i can see exactly what you are saying though. i can picture exactly where it would hit. i know its going to take a bit of fab work but i figured that since im taking a mani of a completely different motor.

lots and lots of stuff.
i cant reveal everything yet. There would be no fun in unveiling it if it did.
but it will be done soon enough. Should get the short block back this week fully assembled.

i am custom bulding everything myself as i always have. It is costing me a lot less than it would a normal person (less than half)
But i am making this to run 15-18 psi daily, and 25-30 psi at the track. Those are the ballpark figures.
I have a lot other stuff done to the block and crank and what not, but thats all secret stuff i dont feel like sharing.

that pics IS fvckin awsome!
im gonna try and get ahold of webster of websters dictionary and have him put a pic of u and ur car next to the word sleeper. ur car could not define the word sleeper any better then the definition itself.
u better quote me on that!
