new project that just started.....now new FAT hole in wallet!

welp lets see how much im gonna spend on this...im guestimating around $8k to $10k.....but it will be going in my es1......with only i think about 90 miles on the motor! sorry pics are kind fcuked up cuz i took it with my phone.

pics were taken from the warehouse where the motor came out of the container with all the other jdmness inside of it( i.e. rb26's, sr20's, some vq motors, etc..) well wish me luck!

wow... it's unusual to see a motor with such low miles. not even new cars at dealerships have as low mileage as that motor... hahaha...

props for sure tho...

very, very interesting ... I think you'll be the first person with the accord euro-r motor swap (in an em2).

hope you can bypass the dbw.

just a forewarning ... there may be a difference in the euro-r subframe and perhaps mounting areas. hopefully hasport mounts will fit.

the jdm accord euro-r motor is a k20a with a different intake manifold. (this is the same intake manifold being used on the 06 Si's). I believe all the other specs are the same ... the header may be a little more restrictive, with the intake manifold being a bit less restrictive ... which would probably contribute to the same HP/TQ figures. According to Honda of Japan, peak torque is at 6000 rpms for the EuroR intake manifold, rather than 7000 rpms for the DC5R intake manifold.

The normal jdm accord/usdm tsx is a k24a2.
