WHat intake to use with a K20A2 swap?

I am doing a K20A2 swap in my 2001 civic. I don't know what intake to use? I have searched threads. Anybody with the K20A2 swap, let me know what intake will work? I'm just confused b/c i get a RSX-S intake, will it fit into our chassis? I'm guessing a cold air intake won't work so i may have to get a short ram. will the RSX-S short ram fit in our car or a EP3 short ram fit?

get a cold air whatever you get. i think aemv2 had the highest dyno hp for the type-s motor if i'm not mistaken. the short air will get heat soaked fast cause it pulls air in right next to the engine.

actually the aem v2 will still get heat soaked cause it still sits in the engine bay just like a short ram

^its true the V2 isnt the most lenghty intake but i think the way it sits in bay it is still fine. go v2, i heard it gave the best gains too.

well based off my dyno runs.. i actually gained more hp using the injen cai then the aem v2... but if anything it was only a 1.8hp difference

the fact that it still sits in the engine bay is what creates heat soak.. if i only took a pic of my v2 when i had it you can see... it still sucks in the heat created in the engine bay...

DEFINITELY not v2. I had the aem v2 and injen cai on my k20 and I dyno'ed 8 whp higher with the injen cai. same day, same dyno... only took 10 min to replace.

the v2 is the most overrated intake on the market today.

as far as the original question goes ... most any short ram intakes will fit ... ep3 aem cai will fit ... ep3 injen cai will NOT fit. rsx-s injen cai, rsx-s aem cai will fit.

Say Jerry, you should've said something. I talked to you yesterday and you didn't mention a word about an intake. I have an rsx-s injen cai with a hole that was drilled for nitrous which is no big deal. Kyle

Hmm i have a buddy that went from Injen CAI to the V2 because it dynoed better but ok. And he has had it on for quite some time and no heat problems whats so ever. Not saying that you guys are wrong but the sheets my buddy has said the V2 gives the best gains....

alright... post up the dyno sheet then.

better yet, use your buddy's injen cai and your buddy's aem v2 and dyno it for yourself. It's a fluke how the v2 can put out more power than the cold air.

search on clubrsx.com and you will see clearly that the v2 is a shitty intake.

supposedly an ep3 intake has a smaller piping than the rsx-s.. so dont get the ep3 intake

AEM and INjen have both began making hybrid installed intakes such as a k20 in a em2 etc.. just check out aempower.com for aem .. but Injen shows the most bang for the buck on them though.
