blue/white smoke
So last night me and my girl were going on a date and i decided to boost real hard after i took off from a stop sign. when i did the car started to move and sudenly vroooom swisshhhhhhh and no boost. i firgured one of my pipes came loose so i just limped it home and we took her accord instead. well today i went to dignose the problem and it was a broken clamp that conects the turbo to the pipe that leads to the intercooler. when i took it off- not only did it have a hole in the pipe( no telling how long it had been there leaking smaal amounts of boost but there was a small amount of oil in the pipe itself. i had been noticeing the exhaust has been smokeing a little more lately but now it is a lot worse.
so i pulled the plugs and checked them and they were fine and everything else seems fine. my question is what does the smoke mean?
i know that there are different types. blue, white, black. i know one means you are running rich, the other means you probably are burning more oil than you should (like a ring is screwd up) and the other could mean a bad cat, which i dont have by the way. Could someone please help my find the problem or give me an idea where to look and please tell me what that smoke means.
THANK YOU!!!!

ok i searched and i found this-
1) Your oil feed line is too big allowing too much oil to be pushed through the turbo, leaking out of the seals.
2) Your oil return line is kinked or not big enough. It is restricting the passage of oil from the turbo back to the oil pan.
3) One or more of your valve seals can be leaking
if anyone else has any imput i would apreciate it.

You have TSI kit right?
Looks like its your turbo.
Reason - if you drove your car for sometime without smoke, and then suddenly it started to smoke, then its not oil lines.
If your kit is less then 1yr old, then you should call TSI and have them sent you replacement turbo, due to warranty.
Or if you cant get replacement turbo, then buy a rebuild kit and have it rebuild. Rebuilding a turbo, not a biggie.
How badly it is smoking??

there are a lot of people that have had this problem in the past. if you search the FI section, there are like 10-15 different threads on that topic.
the oil in your intercooler pipes probably means the turbo is on it's way out because the seals are going. you should definately call tsi and ask them to send you a replacement.

My T3 turbo just blew up and my downpipe and intercooler pipe were filled with oil. My intercooler probably had about a quart of oil in it. I'm pretty sure your turbo took a crap or it's on the way. The funny thing is that I didn't even hear when the turbo blew, I just knew that I had my slow *** civic back. Good luck.

well i didnt buy this directly from tsi, i bought it from another member. does tsi have a web site? it doesnt smoke too bad, i only notice it when i start it up and get on the throttle but thats not to say it doesnt do it at WOT. where can i get a rebuild kit and would this be a good time to get new fins(for performance not reliability).
