tapping into fuel line for nitrous

How did you guys go about this? It just doesn't look to me that a regular t-fitting adapter will work because our fuel lines are hard plastic. I don't see how the barbed fitting will go into the line because the hard plastic won't stretch. I just want to make sure I know what I'm doing before I cut my line.

It's the NOS brand. It's the powerfogger universal wet 4 &6 cylinder kit, I believe. I got it used from a guy on here in the classified section.

Well I assume the T-fitting for the fuel line is similar to mine. In that case, it was a bitch to get on and get it to fit right. I think it took me about 7 trys to get it without leaking i think. I finally got so pissed off I just lubed the T-fitting with gas, and just pushed that line on there as far as it could go. I does work but you just have to have patience and muscle it on there.

Are you sure. My line from the firewall to the injectors is a formed line. It says on the line "do not kink". That suggests to me that it's hard plastic. Can one of you guys post a pic of this connection. I would appreciate it.

Well first let me say DO NOT CUT THE STOCK LINE. its a waste. go to a auto parts store buy some good quality fuel injection gas hose (about 3-4 feet) and 4 good quality fuel injection hose clamps. remove your stock line by undoing the clips and slip the hose over the hard lines and splice that. Now if you want to take your kit off you don't have to go buy a new 30 dollar stock fuel line.

The fuel lines are a hard plastic tube covered with rubber tubing.

Yeah try doing what DJmota said. I wish I would have done that last year, but Oh well.
