Can't Get Oil To Turbo....HELP!!!!!!!!

Can't Get Oil To Turbo....HELP!!!!!!!!

i can't seem to get oil to come out of the oil line in my 01 EX I've got it tapped in to the oil sending unit?!?!?!?... however i can't get any pressure on a gauge ....tried several gauges so i know thats not it

quick easy way to find restriction is to start removing stuff starting with the line, then one adapter at a time till you find oil pressure. Im guessing one is restriciting it

try this....

Take the line completely off, but leave the fitting screwed into the back of the block. Start the car, then after 2-3 seconds, shut the car off.

If you see oil on the ground, then you dont have a restriction there. If you DONT see oil on the ground, then you have some major problem.

Just to make sure, you removed the oil pressure sender (right above the oil filter) and inserted a T fitting and screwed the pressure sender back in..... right?

I'll check.....i had someone else put the turbo on and he BLEW UP the first one........now i have a garrett t3 brand new i'm going to put on myself just replacing it in the setup but before i do that i want to make SURE it is going to get oil!!!!

No sorry haven't had a chance to look at it yet but as soon as i know i'll let you guys know what the problem was......

who put your turbo on the first time a shop or just somone you know? give me a pm i live around where you are and i know of some shops or people that can help.

i had a guy who a friend of mine knows do it....he's put many turbo's on earlier year civics(6th gen) and never had any problems so this is really starting to p*ss me off...any help would be greatly appreciated
