I need help what axles would fit our cars and around how much could i get them for? Also How much hp can our axles withstand? Thanks for your help

our axles can handle around 200hp 200tq it starts to get risky after that. lower that figure a bit if you are using slicks. Any axel shop should be able to hook you up.

I know that with a k20 swap the si axles are used, so how much hp can they handle??
Not sure about type s axles??
Also, how much horsepower can our 5 speed manual handle, with an upgraded clutch??

I donnot have any real mods, i just really am into this stuff, ever since a couple months ago when i read a book on turbos, i keep wanting more!!!!
I do plan on either swap or turbo, when i get $$$, and i figure i should keep rsearching and learning, knowlege is power.

haha k20 axles don't fit our transmissions ...

however, with a K series swap, any type of k20a3 axle will fit. k20a2/z1 axles are too big ... k20a axles are too big and too long.

you can get custom axles from driveshaftshop.com

I also figure out stock axles can handle about 200 hp or so.

I haven't, but tons of people on h-t have ... they're pretty expensive ... but you can get up to 1000+ hp axles on that site ...

just prepare to empty out the wallet.

"C2i0v0i1C" - has custom axles. PM him and see if he can get the ## of the shop.

I was trying to order a set when mine broke. But the shop he ordered, don't want to look it up the parts numbers. When I ask have they ever custom a set for 01 civic-up D17a engines? They said no.
