Front axle nut torque specs

2010 LX Civic
I keep coming up with the numbers 134 181 why 2 numbers
is the 181 the right torque setting for the axle nut ö

134 lbf-ft for the non Si
and 181 lbf-ft for the Si.


they also note to apply a light amount of engine oil to seating surface of the nut.

this is either wheel (drivers side or passenger)

LBF is "Pound-Feet" also known as "Foot-Pounds" of torque.


An SI civic with the 2.0 DOHC engine and 6 speed manual trans uses different axles and therefore requires a different torque spec than a regular Civic of the same year with a 1.8 engine.

Hey thanks a lot I have to go reset it at 134 I did torque it to 181 this is an awesome app got a problem you guys are there to help so cool
