Something that is being missed here is a little something called MBT or maximum brake torque. That is controlled by your timing. The closer you are to MBT on your tune, the more torque, the more heat. Any experienced tuner will tell you to back off from MBT so as not to have too much heat or detonation. So, high torque numbers are possible, depends on the agressiveness of the tune.
