I cant even find 93 octane in phoenix. we have 91. 87, 89, 91. I always use 91, its probably fine though with how hot it gets here.

you've never opened your hood then ... And like ThisCrackerinTam said, this had nothing to do with "Honda's crappy manifold" ... I have been running a Zex wet 75 shot for about 1.5-2 years now ... I blew my headgasket almost a year ago and switched to ARP headstuds when I installed the P&P head .... Now I've been spraying longer on the new headgasket and headstuds than I did with the stock parts and I've never had an issue since ... This completely sounds like user misuse, not a flaw in the Zex or Honda design ...

Yes, perhaps you might want to tell us how to do that without a full engine management control system. The ignition system is the coil type, i.e. no distributor cap to just twist.

you can't..... you need to be running and e-manage piggy back or a standalone ecu. My point was Did You Check Your Timing. If you don't have a way to adjust your timing, why go with the 75 shot?

Yeah you can not adjust your timing, but you can compensate for the timing issue by putting something like 105 octane in or something along those lines. But he ran 91 octane, so I guess that really doesn't matter.

Civic_RedLine will become famous soon enough
it might have been your microswitch mounting point. First couple bottle-fillups i did with 80-shot the whole time it worked fine, but one time where i shot it and the nitrous got messed up because the microswitch bracket broke off so the throttle got caught onto the bracket leaving me at wot while I was pressing the brakes. what i did was turn the ignition off immediately. that moment i thought my car was a gonner til i opened the hood and sae the bracket in half so i moved that and went on with my life.. i think somehow the microswitch was pressing meaning it was at wot when you werent even gassing it as much? there could be so many things that went wrong.

The spark is created by a coil ignition pack. Not sure where exaclty that is, but if you race the plug wires back you should find it. Take that off and take it to Autozone and have it tested. Other than that, you probably have a bad ground somewhere, do all the lights and intrument panels work inside the car?

Also, have you reset the ECU, that will need to be done if you've changed stuff around.
