turbo wrap up

on monday i started my turbo install...and this weekend i'm wrapping it up...just a few questions...when i'm routing the hoses for the boost controller it says i need a positive boost source to route one of the hoses for...where did everyone get their's from?...i see that there are some on the intake manifold..but does it matter that it is after the throttle body? and also anybody that has wired up the ignition harness for the e-manage?...what wires go where?...i looked on the greddy website but i was hoping for more clear instructions

Here's a pic of the pressure source many people use.

http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/at...achmentid=3556

The Emanage Ignition wiring I think goes like this:

ECU Connector A (31 pins)

PIN 27 Brown (Ignition Coil 4) 'Cut' ECU side goes to Emanage Purple/White Wire Coil side goes to Emanage Purple/Black Wire

PIN 28 White/Blue (Ignition Coil 3) 'Cut' ECU side to Yellow/White; Coil side to Yellow/Black

PIN 29 Blue/Red (Coil 2) 'Cut' ECU side to Orange/White; Coil side to Orange/Black

PIN 30 Yellow/Green (Coil 1) Cut' ECU side to Blue/White; Coil side to Blue/Black

Light Blue and Pink wires are unused.

The only reason I say "I think" this is how it's wired is the fact that I haven't installed mine yet. From my understanding of the manual and a pin diagram I got from this site, I believe this is right. I'll hopefully be able to install this harness today if time allows. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. Hope this helps.

i figured out the vaccuum lines and the ignition harness myself after some thinking and guessing...as for the wiring...it is not 4 3 2 1...i don't remember the exact order..but it is in the firing order by channels on the ignition harness....i think it was like 1 3 4 2

THE MYSTERY GRAY WIRE IS TPS, and is pin 15 of terminal A on our harness*

Some wiring tips for the ignition harness:

*pay particular attention to what wires go where (in terms of the INPUT and OUTPUT channels for the emanage) - you don't want to wire the OUTPUT of the emanage to the INPUT of the ECU - you may damage something

*the ignition harness has 8 wires you need to connect - 2 per channel (1 in 1 out), the injector harness has 4 wires you need to connect - 1 per channel.

*On connector A (31 pins) - which should be the very bottom connector on the ECU, pins 27, 28, 29, and 30 are for the ignition coils

*27 = cylinder 4, 28 = cylinder 3, 29 = cylinder 2, 30 = cylinder 1

*so.....channel 1 of emanage goes to cylinder 1, channel 2 to cylinder 3, channel 3 to cylinder 4, channel 4 to cylinder 2

*wire colors of the pins...pin 27 is brown, pin 28 is white/blue, pin 29 is blue/red, pin 30 is yellow/green. For the injectors you only use 4 of the 6 channels. The others you don't wire up.

Some wiring tips for the injector harness:

*wiring info for injectors is as follows: ch1 to pin 5, ch2 to pin 4, ch3 to pin 3 ch4 to pin 2

*Page 23 shows injector haress. Look at the diagram on the left - P/R = ch 4, Y/R = ch 3, O/R = ch 2, etc
http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/man...-manage_23.JPG

*ignore channel A, B, 5, and 6.

Firmware you'll need:

The Support Tool update you'll need:

This will help a lot. Hence why we put it up.....

What about the ground wire on the injector harness (Blk/Red)? Can you just wire that to Connector A pin 4 or 5 (ECU ground) or is there a special injector grounding point used as a reference?

I used the same grounding point for the harnesses.
