I dunno, I actually agree with this guy in a lot of what he said because there are some pretty damn fast cars around here in Tampa and a lot of illegal late night races. I've seen some of the vids that hes talking about. These guys talk a lot of sh*t on that board. Way worse than this one which is why I dont go on it very often. I understand the point hes making but, he needs to be a little careful in what he says in regard to this thread because all I have to say that I'm actually pretty impressed at how fast his acceleration was from 60-100 and his car isnt even running right so theres nothing negative to say in response to this thread. Thats actually the fastest interior filmed turbo d17 vid I've seen yet.

Its so sluggish at 60 because you are in 3rd gear or so - and if you look at the RPM, you'll notice its up when he shifts. The car is still pulling, but its past the torque peak. The civic's engine was designed with torque around 2-3K RPMS....after that it starts to trail off.
