I know this maybe stupid but I was thinking of just getting an intercooler alone rather than the whole nine yards of the turbo kit that includes so and so parts. Would this actually work? Just having the intercooler installed that is going solo without the turbine? Someone help please.
Errr... in other words you'd be putting a $XXX intercooler into your front bumper so everyone can think you are turbocharged even though you are not...
Personally, I would never do this, and would frankly be very sad if I ever came across a vehicle that someone had done this to. Every part of my body screams that this is a horrible thing to even conceive.
BUT I wouldn't put it passed someone with a full show vehicle that never pops the hood, and the vehicle only moves under its own power to get into and out of a covered trailer to get to and from shows. I can imagine someone doing this to that sort of vehicle just for the style points.
All in all, I still hate the idea. Money spent on what amounts to extra weight that does not in one bit aid the vehicle, other than to deceive the unknowing into thinking the vehicle is more than it really is.

Well,..its not that great of an idea(my brother did it...bad idea in my opinion.) Probubly the only way it could be effective at all is if you got a dry nitrous or Cryo. system setup on it...which would cost even more than its probubly worth...just my opinion
