Whats up i got a ? I want know if im getting a good price on a swap. I want a k20 motor. they say they can do it for around $9,000. The engine will cost $5,500 and the install will be $1,000. my car will need to be converted to a stick. They said i will need new axels and engine mounts. I want to if these people are screwing me or if this is a good deal. thanx

there is a k20a2 motor and that is the rsxTYPEs and thought he said the TYPE R is the k20
maybe k20a I dont know buts its the type r that i got price for

^^^ egine mount $550. Axles $???. got to more then that on the labor parts, auto to 5spd conversation isn't cheap.

Im not sure which is the Type R tho. 9000?? My shop quoted me 6,200 for engine and labor...But then again mine is already stick so maybe thats why his is so much higher.

it shouldn't cost more than freaking 60 bucks for the clutch pedal, and 50 or so for a used clutch cylinder... wtf... and ur already getting the new freaking shifter and cables... the wiring isn't that much diffrent...

just order a k20a front clip with all the stuff already... 5000

there were some other parts thats i had to buy so will cover the extra money. Plus his price was just a ballpark. Iv taked to him since then. and its lookin like its gonna be around 8500 to 9000.
