Rep Power: 0 acealtima most of those guys with the big hairdyers on honda-tech with the full-race turbo kits might sacrifice some low end but if u saw some vids of those hatches after 4000,5000 rpms..... fukin crazy they showed a vid on honda-tech of a customer who just got the car back and he couldnt even control it once boost kicked in. I saw a vid with a full-race turboed hatch on 9spi beating a twin turboed 350z and a lancer on 22 psi.

Say what you want man, Whether you beleive it or not your piston rings will slowly melt away over time, which will cause your compression to drop. I dont think you have ANY clue to the amount of heat that nitrous puts on your engine.

Obviously...hence me saying a few are 'done right'
Don't be to 'shocked' to see a big boost hatchback beating a TT350z from a roll...the whole 'power/weight' ratio is what helps a civic go so fast...it's already got over a 700 pound or so weight advantage over the z, so it can easily take a Z....also, even though the Z's make decent power, it's still has the boost 'un'-friendly vq35de under the hood...not much PSI there to make it worthwhile lol
Also beating a lancer at 22psi?? a tuned 4g63 would eat that at those boost levels...

Rep Power: 0 why wouldn't i believe you
I see it all the time
lightweight big turbo hatchbacks are fast....there is no reason it should loose to a heavy *** TT 350z
but the lancer must not have been a 4g63 powered car....sorry I just don't buy that psi level
HOWEVER...I'm going to check for the video...have a username for me to clikc??

An Evo8 at 22psi is only 3psi more than factory max, and about the normal limit for pump gas on a 4g. Assuming the Evo picked up with other bolt-ons as much as 50awhp, it is still nowhere near competative with a vehicle making as much or more power to the ground while weighing usually almost 400lbs less.
