Engine Management
Engine Management
Ok, I spoke with my local engine tuning shop today, and they recommended that, when I turbo my car, I pay them between $800 and $1k to install a Hondata system. I'm not opposed to this, if it is the only way, but I don't want to go throwing down a grand on something when there is a less expensive alternative. If any of you out there can recommend an alternate method or alternate system, I'd love to hear it...
Thanks

There is an AEM EMS out now, the 30-1070. Basemaps and everything. You will lose the stock coolant gauge and control over the a/c system, but everything else will work.

It's designed as a swap EMS for the K and D17 series motors. Look in the forums under the Honda 2001+ section. It's out and available, I tuned one on a k-series two days ago.
