ok to get back on topic as gay as some think it is since i have an auto i don't think it's gay to have nitrous since i have it and have been through plenty of bottles on a 75 shot and the car is still driving and shifting like it has always done. i have a nx wet kit and is set up to spray at wot when it's activated by the toggle and as stupid as it may seem someone convinced me to spray atleast once from a dead stop and what happens is it jumps to about 3k rpm and spins untill about 40 mph and shifts like it should but alot faster. i'm not dissappointed with it. i've hung with some pretty decent cars even though mines an auto but like always it still won't be that fast since it's sohc

^^ dang you have some big ***** dude. Have you done anything to the tranny to help prevent it from failing under the nitrous? No offense man, but I dont hold much confidence in any of these honda autos especially when it comes to heavily modifying them because I've seen them fail so early even when not modified. I dont wanna jinx ya. I'm glad you havent had any known issues yet, but dont expect that tranny to last.

yeah i know i kinda got scared once so i took the time to take out all my crap and took it to honda and had them check my car out claiming i had problems and stuff and they said that everything was fine and they said they reprogrammed the ecu but i don't know why, but still i've been through 7 refills so yeah i guess it's all good, but i'm starting to get tired of it and want to get something alot better to work on and put this one back to stock for daily driver purposes. also so that it's known i have an 02 lx with a little over 50,000 mi. on it.

also i used a 50 shot for a little bit and it was ok but not that great cause i raced my friends stock cavileir z24 which is kinda fast for what it is and i only beat him by about 2 cars.

Thats probably a good idea to a get a different car unless you ever wanna do a complete swap. The auto civic just isnt meant to be beat up on with mods. I'd keep that bottle for your next car or for a swap though. The bottle is a damn good contender, I've gone through so many bottles I stopped counting.

I really don't see the big deal on if someone wans to put nitrous in there auto. with all of the people that put there auto on the bottle with no problem people always want to dog them. Plus if the tranny breaks it is just a better reason to get a 5 spd swap.
