50 Shot Nitrous in Auto
ive searched but couldnt find anything, my friend has a 04 Civic Auto. He had to get auto because his father baught the car for him and hes too lazy for a manual. He wanted to get a nitrous kit installed because hes a lil ricer kid that wants alota things that amuses him... (green lights... spinning hubcaps).. but i think the nitrous thing is a pretty good idea, any ways
when in the automatic and its changing gears, would u have to let go of the nitrous button? or could u hold it without any problems. thanks

I think it won't change gears if you hold it down. The engine revs up real high, and then I think it hits fuel cutoff. Afterwards, engine starts to misfire. A rpm window switch can be used to turn on n2o and shut it off at preset rpm's.

Man, I'm still sittin here laughin at what civic01vtec just said.....but anyway, you could do it but like gearbox said, I dont think its a good idea. You're gonna eff up that auto real fast unless you put some money into it to make sure it holds reliably.

just spray in the highest gear? i saw on speed channel, they did something to the throttle cable to hit a solenoid so that you can only spray when at full throttle...

u might need a system that has a fast on/off toggle.

LOL, shifting your tranny through like that is a great way to BREAK IT... lot, like they said, just yell "I'm gay" out the window, but dont say it when the cop pulls you over cuz your tranny fell out........
there is no reason why you can't spray with an auto. Just get a zex kit and as long as you are at WOT it will spray. It will not be any worse than boosting an auto (notice I did not say either were great on the tranny). It is not great to spray for more than 15sec at a time. So that is were the "don't spray in 5th rule" comes from because if you are in 5th and still spraying 15sec is up unless us started in 3rd then it is ok to spray in 5th
